Dr. Robert Spatafora is a liftime resident of Monroe, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Neville High School and received his degree from Louisiana Tech University in Pre-Dentistry. He went on to receive his dental degree from Louisiana State University's School of Dentistry.
Dr. Spatafora opened his dental practice in Monroe in 1978. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for over 35 years and has four children; Sarah, Leah, Will, and Kyle. He has two grandchildren, Aidan and Zoe. He is the son of the late Gene and Billie Spatafora.
Dr. Spatafora attends many continuing education seminars throughout the year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Louisiana Dental Association, The Northeast Louisiana Dental Association, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, The American Academy of Oral Systemic Health, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Spatafora is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and has achieved Diplomate status within the organization. AADSM is the leading national organization for dentists who treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective alternative treatment to the standard CPAP machine. Dr. Spatafora is committed to using his knowledge of dental sleep medicine to help treat his patient's snoring and sleep apnea and provide Northeast Louisiana residents with a better night's rest.
Dr. Spatafora is active in his community and church. He is a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Church where he has served on the Parish Council, Building Committee, and School Board. He is a lifetime member of the Monroe Youth Baseball Association.
Dr. Spatafora is an avid duck hunter. He enjoys golf and gardening, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
